These plans serve as the foundation for the Fletcher Reformer, proving that history stands the test of time. Traditional in design, size and function, the Fletcher Reformer is slightly narrower than our Studio Reformer. It also features adjustable latigo leather straps, extension straps, a 3-position footbar, and four springs. The Reformer is hand-built to Fletcher’s specifications, bestowed on him by Clara Pilates, and incorporates Balanced Body’s innovations, unparalleled craftsmanship and premium materials.

Does it come fully assembled?

The Fletcher Reformer comes partially assembled. Assembly includes springs, shoulder rests, and leather straps. Click here to download assembly instructions.

What is the Fletcher Reformer spring/resistance and springbar?

The Ron Fletcher Reformer includes 4 medium-heavy red springs. There are 2 “springbar gear” positions. Special Fletcher springs are required for replacement.

What is the Fletcher Reformer footbar?

The Fletcher Reformer footbar has one vertical position and a slightly narrower diameter than other BB footbars.

Can you add a Jumpboard or Tower?

The Ron Fletcher Reformer provides all required exercise and movement for Ron Fletcher’s curriculum and practice. The Ron Fletcher Reformer is not designed for Jumpboard and Tower.

What's the best way to clean it?

Clean upholstery and footbar cover with Balanced Body Clean or gentle soap & warm water. Alcohol, bleach and chemical cleaners will damage upholstery.
Wash loops in cold water and air dry regularly.
Dust and clean tracks, wheels, and springs regularly.
